Mission Statement


Scouting reached out to more than 4 million boys and young men and women in 2003. Cub Scouting, Boy Scouting, Venturing, and Learning for Life's values-based programs helped guide young people through their formative years in an atmosphere of fun, fellowship, and adventure.
The mission of the Boy Scouts of America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
