The Council Webmasters' Newsletter is a provides news about updates and changes in the national Web site along with other information perceived to be of value to individuals who operate and maintain their local councils sites.
Previously, the newsletter had been used only for "emergency" alerts, when a sudden change required immediate action - such alerts will still be sent via this mailing list (to those who opt to receive them), but it will also be used for announcements and information of a more general nature.
Enter your e-mail address below to access the subscribers' interface - it will show your current status and enable you to subscribe or unsubscribe to either the newsletter or alerts.
The most common reason you may not be receiveing the newsletter is that you or your ISP have filters intended to block "spam" or junk e-mail. Depending on your settings/software, you may be able to view blocked messages and change your preferences to permit the newsletters to reach you. All messages sent to this mailing list will original from a "netbsa.org" or "scouting.org" address - you should be able to change your settinds so that messages from those addresses are not misidentified as spam.
Another possible problem is that previous newsletters sent to your address may have "bounced back" to the scouting.org server as undeliverable due to a temporary outage along the newtwork or at your ISP. In those instances, you may be automatically "unsibscribed" from the newsletter and alerts. You will need to re-subscribe to begin receiving the newsletters again. Any issues you missed will be in the archives, below.
Archives of all newsletters and alerts are maintained here.
